A new health centre at Burnley College is hosting a fitness showcase to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.

The first annual Evolution Fitness Showcase will take place on Saturday, June 24 at Fitness Evolution, Burnley College from 10am-4pm.

The event aims to promote health and wellbeing across East Lancashire, acting as a platform to promote participation in physical activity and healthy life choices.

On the day there will be over 20 stalls promoting various local health, nutrition and fitness initiatives, whilst the centre’s main studio will play host to a fitness showcase with mini-workouts, tryout sessions and a seminar area with guest speakers.

The centre’s ‘performance lab’ will be in full swing with high-end elite sports testing and outside there will be a Ninja Warrior obstacle course, children’s fun and a BBQ.

Early bird tickets cost £10 for the full event, £5 for the Ninja Warrior course or £5 for showcase

Pendleside Hospice will be present on the day promoting its Colourdash event in September – a 5km charity run, jog or walk during which participants will be covered in different coloured paint!
