Everyone’s invited to Pleckgate High School on Saturday September 30 as local charity the Abu Hanifa Foundation hosts its free, flagship family health event – Healthy Me, Healthy You.
It’s a chance for everyone to find out more about the wealth of free community services available locally covering physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Taking place between 10-2pm and delivered in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackburn with Darwen CCG and the Together a Healthier Future programme, the event brings together 50 health care providers under one roof.
Stalls on the day will cover topics like weight management, hidden sugars and diabetes, dental and optical care, cancer prevention, stress management and mindfulness, exercise initiatives and much more.
Attendance is free and all are welcome to attend – no need to book a place, simply turn up on the day.
The Abu Hanifa Foundation is a young person’s charity committed to producing the next generation of local Muslim role models.
