Together A Healthier Future is a programme to improve our health and care system in Pennine Lancashire, which is made up of East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen.
Over the past 18 months we have worked with residents, volunteers, doctors, nurses, health and care professionals, community workers and others to develop our plans for change. We have listened to what people have had to say and we set out our proposals in our Draft Pennine Plan which we published in December 2017. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to let us know what you think of our proposals.
We have now published the Final Pennine Plan - read it here.
The biggest transformation to the way family doctors work in more than a generation will be launched from today (Mon 1 July). It will see general practices, large and small, working to support each other while offering a wider range of specialist care services to patients from a range of health professionals.
Together a Healthier Future, the Integrated Care Partnership for Pennine Lancashire, is celebrating Volunteers Week and encouraging people to give volunteering a try.
