Healthier Pennine Lancashire is a programme to improve our health and care system in Pennine Lancashire, which is made up of East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen.
We have worked with residents, volunteers, doctors, nurses, health and care professionals, community workers and others to develop our plans for change. We are working together in partnership across Pennine Lancashire to improve the health and care outcomes and to help everyone living here live healthier lives.

The Pennine Lancashire Integrated Care Partnership has released their Annual Report for 2018/2019. The report highlights a number of the achievements made over the year as part of the integrated care partnership.
On 16 September, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council welcomed Duncan Selbie the Chief Executive of Public Health England.
In December 2017, Sport England selected 12 areas across the country to benefit from a share of £100 million of National Lottery funding to develop new approaches to building healthier, more active communities.
